Not only will you not have enough water in you your body might have a hard time getting rid of water. This will lead to excess water building up in your body, this is also known as fluid overload. This can lead to edema, excess water in the skin and tissue. This can be caused by a fluid imbalance. Dehydration affects sodium and electrolyte levels in the body, Dehydration can cause emotional and physical problems. Dehydration can affect our moods and ability to concentrate. So being dehydrated can not only lead to physical problems but problems on your emotional health and mental health.
