What does the effect of the construction of buildings and roads have on water percolation through the soil? Hence what effect would this have on the water table?

look when u make building this require allot of water as cement needs to be in slurry form thus to satisfy need of water people extract water from ground by digging handpumps etc....thus it reduce ground water which leads to lower concentration of water in ground and plants can't meet their need sown in forest as water is taken out

Soil is used for construction of buildings and roads. It effects water percolation through cement and ultimately reduces ground water level known as water label.
