What does the number on richter scale indicate? How does the magnitude of the earthquake measured in richter scale?Please please Brainlest answer too. Thank you too. I have exam today.

The number of richter's scale denotes how much effect of earthquake can occur.

Magnitude of Richter's scale : -

i. 0-2 : - It has very minute level. Thus, it doesn't cause any distruction.

ii. 2-4 : - It has low level of earthquake rate. Cause is negligible.

iii. 4-6 : - It has medium level of earthquake rate. Can cause medium levels of distruction.

iv. 6-8 : - It has high level of earthquake rate. Can cause fallin' of trees, small houses, etc.,.

v. 8-9 : - It has very large levels of earthquake rate. Can take lives, fallin' of trees, tall buildings, etc.,.
