the main motive of this poem is to provide awareness among new generation people.It is saying that we should conserve our wildlife and wild animals by either stop killings of them or to protect them in zoo and sanctuaries. because wild animals need to live in open forests so as they can enjoy ,,hunt for prey and do their activities which mostly can't be done in zoo
