the boy poem is a poem about a boy who loses his ball and experience is the sense of loss for the first time the sense of loss is meant for the adults to know but he experience is for the first time so nothing can please him at that moment so the poet doesn't want to include him the ball poem wants to convey that the boy learns the sense of loss things will be bought and lost in the world and one must have the courage to accept the loss and move on in life
