Birsa Munda was an Indian freedom fighter and tribal leader born on 15 November 1875. He was son of Suguna Munda and karmi hatu. He was born at Ulihatu, Khunti, India. He is also known as Birsa Bhagwan and dharti aaba for his work on religion his speech and his personality which encourages people. He was died at the age of 24 on 9th June 1900 at Ranchi Jail.




He is famous as tribal leaderwho revolted against British rule. He realize the fact at young age that Britishers arrived India to torture people he started aware people to expose the British company and he made his own army of tribals. He was active and remembered as a relentless fighter.




His personality and speech encourage people to believe in the power of freedom.



Birsa’s claim to be a messenger of God. The people approached him as the Sun God, the good spirit who watches over them and can do no ill.



Then Birsa munda was known as God himself people are be to him to see him to see new prophet. Later people was started recognise him Dharti Aba. Because then Munda people worship son and the Birsa Munda was known as Dharti Aba as a sun was above and Birsa as below.
