Zebulon Pike’s explorations opened up West America for settlement of white Americans. This allowed America to be extended further to the West.

EXPLANATION:

Till 1800, the Mississippi River served as a boundary between America and Europe and most of the people did not venture west into the unknown lands.  Zebulon Pike explored these unknown lands and studied these which further enabled Native Americans to spread their civilization and knowledge in these new areas.
