As the salt dissolves in the water, it adds mass. This makes the water more dense and thus allows more objects to float on the surface and increases density so some objects such as egg float on salty water whereas egg does not float on pure water.

In fresh water the amount of salt and minerals are less. As a result the fresh water has less density and thus bouyant force acting on the body is less
In salty water as the density is very high the bouyant force acting on the body will be very high
