When Sultan Ibrahim Lodhi was ruling over Punjab, he stirred great resent among his masses.
The governor of Punjab, Daulat Khan Lodhi and Ibrahim Lodhi’s uncle, Aalam Khan plotted to remove him from the throne.
Aalam Khan, along with Daulat Khan, sent an invitation to Babur, who was the the ruler of Kabul.
They invited him to join them in their march against Ibrahim Lodhi, in order to conquer Punjab.
