There is no evidence for the origin of life, OoL, from inanimate matter. The construction of life is another issue: all life comes from the same chemical elements that constitute all matter and arose from solar processes of time.

1. Unfortunately, the physical structure of the Earth that dates back to the origin of the Earth has been so significantly modified and disturbed by the early Earth late bombardment, the late veneer, both periods of extraterrestrial periods of cosmic, asteroid and meteoric  heavy impact changed much of the Earth's surface. Then plate tectonics further changed the Earth's surface and removed any possible organic evidence.

2.The complexity of even the simplest organisms is beyond the possibility of any naturalistic process to ever cause the coincidence, colocation, concentrations and contamination mitigation required to combine the biochemical assemblies required for the OoL.

3. Even though entropy can produce simple amino acids, sugars, formaldehyde, cyanide, methane, water, found on meteorites, this is the naturalistic limit of low entropy assembly possible.

4. Both the amino acids and the pentose sugars that constitute DNA, the multi-level organic coded intelligently designed, irreducibly complex information system that is the most complex entity in the universe. Only homochiral acids and sugars, which are not produced by any naturalistic process can build DNA. The 100% required homochiral amino acids and sugars are only produced within living cells, not inanimate matter.

5. A cell membrane that encapsulates the cellular elements is required, even for the simplest entity, otherwise the cell interior is exposed to an open system and will never survive. All elements of the first cell can not simply be enclosed within some lipid layer because there must be engineered bi-directional flow of waste and nutrients, so a simple cell membrane is not enough.

6. There are no naturalistic processes capable of any level of synthesis of more than the simplest elements of a living entity. The primary method, considered the basis of abiogenetic operation, the supposed method of producing a living organism from inanimate matter, is called chemical evolution and is not based on any empirical evidence, whether Darwin's "warm little ponds," Oparin Haldane primordial soup, or Miller-Urey test tube goo.

Conclusion: there is no evidence that OoL came from inanimate matter.
