What exactly is conservation of momentum....i mean it has 3rd law in it(the gun example) and 2nd law(catching the cricket ball) is it like conservation of momentum is a mix of 2nd nad 3rd law??

momentum is the quantity of motion in a body. and conservation of momentum is that the amount of motion b/w the two bodies remain same even if there velocity are changed
