The factors which lead to the rise of a new species are:-
<b>Natural selection</b>:- Some traits have survival advantage or in other words they are naturally selected , Nature allows only those organisms which have traits that are selected but the nature itself to be useful to survive in a particular environment and thus the populations of these individuals increase.
<b>Genetic drift</b>:-Accidents in a small populations can change the frequency of some genes in a population, even if they give no survival advantage.This is called genetic drift, which provides diversity without any adaptation.
