There are various factors that affect the increase in release of oxygen from haemoglobin:
- Partial pressure of co2: decreased rate of partial pressure of CO2 increases the release of oxygen from haemoglobin.
- Temperature: a significant drop in body temperature mostly due to exposure to extreme cold also known as hypothermia causes increase in oxygen flow from haemoglobin.
- increased ph value in haemoglobin also called alkalosis causes increment in oxygen release.
- The presence of certain indifferent kind of species of haemoglobin also increments tha release of oxygen. Mainly named methaemoglobin, carboxyhaemoglobin, etc.
- a by-product during the production of glycolysis mainly named 2,3-DGP( 2,3-diphosphoglycerate) also affects such that the as the concentration of 2,3- DGP decreases ,the release of oxygen from haemoglobin is increased.
