Factors that affect hatchability are strain,health, nutrition and age of the flock, egg size,weight and quality,egg storage duration and conditions. Fertile eggs should not be stored for more than 10 to 14 days.After 14 days hatchability decreases significantly. Also the position of egg storage influences hatchability of eggs.
