The creation of linguistic state was the first major test for democratic policy in our country after independence in 1947 the boundaries of several of old States changed in order to create new States this was done to ensure that the people who spoke the same language live in the same state. some states were not created on the basis of language would recognise different based on culture ,ethnicity and geography these States include states that Nagaland ,Uttarakhand and Jharkhand but some national leaders the demand of new states on the basis of language as they thought It Would lead to disintegration of a country but later this fear proved wrong and formation of linguistics actually made country mo United administration become more easier
thank you
