From a scientific perspective, emotions are facilitated by neurochemicals. Hence, in order for a creature to experience emotions, certain neurochemicals (let alone brain structures) need to be in place.
Therefore, to answer your question, yes, some animals do experience emotions like humans do, particularly mammals, as all mammals are relatively similar in brain chemistry. Animals that may not experience emotions the same way that humans do may be insects, arachnids, etc. For example, spiders do not have the neurotransmitter called Serotonin, which is a key neurotransmitter when humans feel sad, depressed, etc. They don't have a lot of the neurotransmitters involved in human emotion (GABA, Dopamine, Serotonin, Acetylcholine, Epinephrine, Norepinephrine, etc), so it cannot be said that they experience human emotions.
However, this does not mean that they don't experience emotions. They may experience some form of emotion that only spiders can experience, one that is beyond our human imagination, and cannot be described in the English language.
Truth be told, only a spider will know what a spider feels.
hope it may help you:-)

Pain is a defense mechanism. If something hurts us, we react—that whole “fight or flight” thing. Plants don't have that ability, so they have no biological need to feel pain. Plants don't even have a central nervous system like humans and animals.
