Explanation:-

Here formula of acc. will be used i.e

a = v-u /t

in the question we have

v (Initial velocity) = 5.0 m/s^2 and t = 2.0 sec

then by the formula mentioned above we will use the values in it and take u as 0 i.e u( potential velocity) = 0

i.e a = v - u / t

a = 5 - 0 / 2

a = 5/2

a = 2.5 m/sec ^2

Then apply the formula of Force i.e mass × acceleration

F = m × a

F = 60 ×2.5 ( m = given in question )

F = 150 N

Hence a = 2.5m/sec^2

F = 150 N

NOTE = It is mandatory to use the units at the end of the question during giving answer .
