Hey there
The gas emitted by power stations which causes acid rain is sulfur dioxide.
It's a toxic gas actually and it's mostly from the power stations. volcanoes etc...
It gives a irritating sensation to our nose and it's really dangerous to inhale it as it causes side effects ranging from respiratory problems to death eventually.
Even there's chance of Carbon dioxide also in causing acid rain, might be a small part.
