In the chapter "the letter" by "Dhumketu", coachman Ali, a retired army officer, waited for his daughter's letters, who was married a couple of weeks ago. He had been going to the post office everyday to check if she sent a letter for him but, alas, everyday he came home ,unfortunately, without the letters. There was not a single day that he didn't go to the post office for his daughter's letters. This has exhausted Ali's patience, though not his faith that his daughter's letters are soon to come.
Hope this helps.
