Copper sulphate soln gets diluted.
● Explanation -
- As copper sulphate solution already have water in it, no reaction will occur by adding water.
- Though, copper sulphate solution gets diluted to half the initial conc.
- A total of 100 ml solution with half the initial molarity will be formed.
* If water is added to dry copper sulphate, it will form copper hydroxide.
CuSO4 + 2H2O --> Cu(OH)2 + H2SO4
