In this reaction zinc displace copper from copper sulphate compound so that copper is set free . The blue colour of copper sulphate solution fades due to the formation of zinc sulphate which is colourless.... This displacement reaction take place because zinc is more reactive than copper .❤

when iron nails dipped in ZnSO4 iron cannot displace zinc from its compound. As zinc is more reactive than iron ,iron cannot displace zinc from its compound.
