What happen when a solution of metal oxide is tested with blue Litmus Paper and red litmus paper? Please give the answer in very short answer for 1mark question

If the metal or the solution change red litmus paper into blue litmus it is a base, or else if the blue litmus changes into red litmus it is a acid
