Q:- What happens when blue litmus is added to water extract of MgO..??

A:- When Blue litmus is dipped into the water extract of MgO ( Magnesium Oxide) , there is no change, as the nature of MgO is basic.

Whenever blue litmus is dipped into a basic solution it's color does not change , but when it is dipped in acidic solution , it turns red.
