volume of base =78×54×3=12636
volume of 2 opp sides =78×9×3×2=4212
volume of left 2 sides=48×9×3×2=2592
total volume=19440
total weight=19440÷60
=324gm
this is for a box open from top

Answer: 1788.48 Kg

Step-by-step Explanation:

External Volume = 78 x 54 x 12 = 50544 cm^3

Internal Volume = (78 - 3*2) x (54 -3*2) x (12 - 3*2) = 72 x 48 x 6 = 20736 cm^3

External Volume - Internal Volume = 50544 - 20736 = 29808 cm^3

Weight = Volume x Density

Weight = 29808 cm^3 x 60gm/ cm^3 = 29808 x 60 = 1788480 gms =

1788.48 Kg
