Raisins will get puffed because at 4 degree the density of water is high at its maximum point but if the temperature decreases below 4 degree it gets exploded because of anamolous expansion of water. PLEASE MARK ME BRAINLIEST

When dry raisins are placed in clear water for some time, they plump up as water will flow from the region of higher concentration to lower concentration which happened due to the effect of osmosis.

When raisins are stored in water at 4°C, they will plump up as the liquid penetrates in the raisins due to osmosis. But, due to the lower level of temperature, the speed which water penetrates the raisins is comparatively slower at room temperature.
