What happen when the food particle enter in our lungs?????

So, basically when food "goes the wrong tube", it is stopped before reaching the lungs and through coughing it integrally gets back to the mouth? No small pieces can make it to the lungs?

If a piece of food gets to the lungs, the body has no process to remove it?
