what happens is that the plant will die coz chloroplast is a pigment in plants that enables the plant to produce it's own food for survival so without chlorophyll it won't be able to produce it's own food thus resulting to death of the plant.but plants like monotropa or snow plants are parasitic plants and they depend on the host or derive food frm other organism. so they dont need chloroplast.
