The row and column header of Excel worksheets provide easy access of data. They provide reference to the data. The header may be hide from the person who using it. If you hide these headers it will be difficult to access the data as there will be no reference row number and column letter.
For this, i. Open the Excel Worksheet containing the worksheet on which you wish to hide the row and column headers.
ii. Click the ‘File’ tab.
iii. Click ‘Options’ in the list of items on the left, on the backstage screen.
iv. On the ‘Excel Options’ dialog box, click ‘Advanced’ in the list of items on the left.
v. Scroll down the ‘Display options for this worksheet’ section.
vi. There should be no checkmark on the ‘Show row and column headers’ check box.
vii. Then click ‘Ok’ to accept the change and close the ‘Excel Options’ dialog box.
Then the row and column header will be hidden.
