what happened to digested food after absorb by the blood.

After the complex process of digestion, the particles which are important for us gets absorbed and assimilate in our body and the waste material are secreted out of body through anus.

Some particles like drugs and alcohol gets absorbed in stomach wall and enters in blood stream through villi present on stomach wall. These drugs through blood stream reach their resceptive centre and perform their function.

While most of the food gets absorbed in small intestine where numerous microvilli are present and after getting absorbed they also enter blood stream and reach at the places where they are required.

So after absorption they perform their functions at different sites of body.
