what happened to size of The Pupil of our eye in dim light and bright light

dim light = pupil become larger
bright = pupil become smaller

this is the simple word trick

in dim light , the size of our pupil increses whereas in bright light , the size of our pupil decreses which is so designed that it help us to see properly .
it is also called accomodation or adjustment of pupil.
