The narrator went to Mrs.Dorling's house after a long time. When Mrs. Dorling saw the narrator she refused to even recognize her and did not allow the narrator to come inside. It was an odd experience for the narrator. The narrator saw her mother's green cardigan which proved that she was at the right address.
