Hloo dear....

This synapse helps to release the chemical messengers called neurotransmitters.

The electrical signal between the two neurons convert into chemicals that can easily cross over the gap and pass on to the next neurons

Hope it helps u...

Synapse is the gap found between 2 adjacent neurons.

When an impulse in form of electrical signal reaches the synapse, it gets converted into chemicals. In order to pass that gap, chemical messengers otherwise known as neurotransmitters are released that carry those chemicals to the next neuron.
