what happens at the synapse between two neurons

the electrical impulse change to chemical at axon terminal and them passes through the synapse because electrical impulse cannot travel through it.......after reaching to the next neuron's dendrite the chemical changes into the same electrical impulse.........synapse is basically a gap between to neurons......... hope helps.........

Synapse is the close proximity of axon's end knob and the dendron of other neuron .When signals reach at the end of the neuron then a neurotransmitters are released which help in
transfer of signals to other neuron.
