What happens h2so4 contains with wet litmus paper

When H2SO4 is tested on litmus paper it turns the litmus paper red because litmus turns red in case of acid.

It changes its colour to red
because H2SO4 is an acid and it changes the colour of litmus paper to red when litmus paper is dipped in the acid
