Answer:

Increased Stress On Cardiovascular System

Warming up helps you to gradually increase your heart rate and breathing to a level that will be able to meet the demands of your workout. If you start exercising at a strenuous level without warming up first, you will place unnecessary stress on your heart and lungs.

If an individual ignores warming up and cooling down for the workout places unnecessary stress to the heart and lungs.

Explanation:

Increased stress is caused in the Cardiovascular system when warm up is ignored. Ignoring warming will not lose your joint and blood flow will be decreased thereby losing energy and stamina. This induces high stress to joints and muscles. If the workout is stopped suddenly without cooling down the contraction of muscles will stop suddenly. This causes the blood to pool in lower extremities of the body which reduces the pressure of blood and not being pumped back properly to the heart and brain. Due to this, the person may feel lightheaded, dizzy and even may faint.
