Without chlorophyll, leaves of plants won’t be green, and it would be hard, or hinder plants from gathering solar energy for photosynthesis. Plants would die eventually if chlorophyll is removed from the leaves by one way or another.

Plants will be unable to make food if chlorophyll is absent.

Explaination:

1. Chlorophyll is present in the cell organelle Chloroplast of plants.

2. Chloroplast has two membranes surrounding it-the outer and the inner. In between these two membranes, there is a space which is known as the intermembrane space.

Chlorophyll pigment is present in the thylakoid. This pigment is responsible for the green coloration of the plant leaves. Without chlorophyll, the plants would not be green. The leaves would be very hard. Absence of chlorophyll will also hinder the plants to obtain sunlight from the sun due to which plants will not be able to make food and eventually will lead to death of the plant.
