What happens if fault occur in neutral wire and fuse is connected to live wire?

First of all fuse is never connected to a live wire and if it is connected to a live wire and the fault occurs in neutral wire the fuse will break the circuit,but you will get a shock while changing the fuse as the current is accumulated near it.
