The function of Golgi complex is to collect simple particles and transform them into complex particles, it takes protein formed from endoplasmic reticulum, enclose it into a vesicle and transport it through the cytoplasm outside the cell.

So, if Golgi is removed there will be no complex molecule formation

No transport of protein,

No lysosomes, that means cell will not be able to do programed death whenever required, which may increase the toxicity in that cell area.

Many times programmed cell death is required , so that tumor cell die as a result of body defence system, so lack of it may cause cancer to progress.

I hope it helps.

What will happens, If golgi apparatus is removed from cell?

If there is no Golgi apparatus, then many of these functions will not happens:-

  1. Storage of protein.
  2. Formation of acrosome.
  3. Formation lysosomes & vesicles.
  4. Transportation of lipids around the cell.
  5. Modifying, sorting & processing of proteins.
