hello friend!!

the plasma membrane /cell membrane is a semi permiable membran ehtat covers the boundary of the cell.

so, if plasma membrane breaks/ruptures the osmosis stops (as it is the best site.moreover, transportaion of gases(o2, co2) stops.

as well as the cell will die as it will come to outer environment.

so., the different organelles cannot survive, hence will lead to death.

hope it helps,

thank you!

If the plasma membrane ruptures or breakdown then the cell will not be able to exchange material from its surrounding by diffusion or osmosis. Thereafter the protoplasmic material will be disappeared and the cell will die.
