what happens if pressure of a liquid is less than vapour pressure

The vapour pressure increases with temperature. Boiling occurs when the pressure above a liquidbecomes equal to or less then the vapour pressure of the liquid. It means that boiling of water may occur at room temperature if thepressure is reduced sufficiently.
