What happens if the ribosomes of a cell were destroyed?

If they are destroyed then the protein synthesis process which are responsible by the ribosome will be stoped and the cell becomes weak and cannot respond properly.

EXPLANATION:  

Ribosome are useful in the formation of protein inside the cell. By translation the DNA of the nucleus of the cells are converted to the RNA and this in turn is converted into the protein by joining of amino acid.

This step takes place in the retina. If the ribosome is affected or destroyed then the protein formation will be lost and as a result the cell will not be able to establish its DNA sequence and will die.
