what happens if there are no valves in the heart

Valves are present to prevent the backward flow of blood.so if they were not there..oxygenated and deoxygenated blood would get mixed.

Each beat is an amazing display of strength and flexibility. The heart has 4 valves: The mitral valveand tricuspid valve, which control blood flow from the atria to the ventricles. The aortic valve and pulmonary valve, which control blood flow out of the ventricles. This all function will not be possible , when the valves will not be in the heart .....
