if we add one more proton to the nucleus of an atom then the positive charge in atom will become greater than the negative charge. hence the atom will gain positive (+) charge.

it can't be happened since proton lies in nucleus if u try to add or remove a proton then the atom would be too unstable and that atoms will become extinct...
