What happens the blood cells are dipped in a sloution of more than normal saline concentration?

Saline concentrated solution is hypertonic with respect to the blood cells.
Therefore when the blood cell is dipped in a hypersonic solution, then the blood cell undergoes exosmosis resulting in shrinkage of blood.
