When monomers undergo dehydration synthesis then all monomers combine with each other via covalent bond and then they form larger molecule which is known as polymers.

Monomers release waters as byproduct in the process of dehydration synthesis. In this process they form long chain like molecules.

This process is called dehydration synthesis.
