what happens to plant if the rate of respiration becomes more than the rate of photosynthesis

the oxygen will be more but photosynthesis process is stopped we can't get food material from plant
both respiration and photosynthesis are important

If the rate of respiration is more than the rate of photosynthesis, the energy consumed will be more than the energy produced. Since, plants are autotrophs and they don't have external source of nutrition for gaining this energy. It will die. If the rate of respiration is higher than thephotosynthesis
