y = 1/ log(cos x)

Appyling division rule of differentiation,

dy/dx = log(cos x) * d 1/dx - 1 * d(log(cos x)) / dx
dy / dx = - 1/ cos x * - sin x....by chain rule
dy/dx = cos x / sin x = cot x .

rukmaniajay9p9fuc1: hey when we write division formul of derivative is
rukmaniajay9p9fuc1: tell me
dhruvsh: whenever a function is given of the form y = u/v
dhruvsh: for example , y = x+1/x^2
dhruvsh: here for differentiation we have to use the division formula
