The growth of the plant will stop.

Explanation:

  • The auxin is an important plant hormone, which is produced at the root and shoot tip of the plant.
  • The auxins are the powerful growth hormones that are produced naturally by the plants.
  • The auxins play roles like cell division, growth of the stem and root.
  • The auxin affects the orientation of the plant by promoting the cell division in response to the sunlight and gravity.
  • If the tip of the plant is removed the auxin will become absent, which will prevent the entire growth of the plant.
