so perimeter = 4x

And area =x×x

When perimeter is double

Then peremeter =2×4x

=8x

So length ofeach side of square

=8x/4

=2x

So area will be= 2x×2x

=4x×x

So when perimeter of square is double then the area of square will increse 4 time
