When iron nails are dipped in the solution of copper sulphate solution then the colour of solution changes from BLUE TO GREEN due the displacement of copper from copper sulphate solution by iron and the displaced copper gets deposited on the iron nail giving a REDDISH-BROWN colour to the nails.
